for tomorrow

Engagement Office

The Engagement Information and Development (EID) Unit was responsible for the Centre for Academic Engagement and Collaboration's (CAEC) 2015 mid-year staff team building event.

On 19 June all CAEC staff members gathered at Sacramento Restaurant (Schoenmakerskop) for a wonderfully creative experience. With a roaring fire and the crashing waves as inspiration, CAEC staff members followed the inspirational and sensitive lead of facilitator Theresa Hardman in creating unique images reflecting the diversity of each individual person's contribution to CAEC and NMMU as well as the unification of these diverse individual contributions into two holistic composite 'big pictures'.  These pictures (representing a tree of life and a globe) will be framed and displayed in communal spaces in the department.
